Gears have 30% increased torque capacity

Optimisation of the flex spline and circular spline gear form as well as the wave generator profile has increased the torque capacity by 30 % and the operating life by a further 40 % compared with the HFUC technology. For the same applied torque, gears with Harmonic Drive's CobaltLine technology have an operating life over three times longer than previous designs. The new CobaltLine technology will be offered as a component set for direct integration in machines or as a complete gear unit with housing and output bearing. In order to fulfill the most diverse requirements of the market, the 2UH and the high precision CPU versions are readily available while Servo Motors technology will also be obtainable.The new eco friendly magenta coloured lubricant Flexolub A1 raises performance and reduces energy consumption. Friction and wear are minimised, and the efficiency and operation temperature range is increased. With an operating temperature range of -40°C to +120°C, the CobaltLine is perfect for mobile applications without placing restrictions on the maximum available torque.
