Exhibition lineup
The 72nd edition of the Hannover Messe will be centered around the lead theme “Industrial Transformation” and it will be dedicated to unlocking its potential and future-proofing the industrial sector. As the world around us is changing and global priorities are shifting towards climate and environmental sustainability, technological innovations are constantly disrupting the status quo and opening up more opportunities.
Eight themes
Eight will be the key themes covered during the trade show:
The central theme remains the impact of digitalization and new technologies on the industry.
At the Digital Ecosystems (Halls 14 -17) the full range of softwares for the industrial value chains will be showcased, while the Future Hub (Halls 24 -25) will gather visionary approaches aimed at identifying solution for tomorrow’s industrial requirements and future-proofing the industry.
The Engineered Parts & Solutions (Halls 19 -23), the Logistics (Halls 2 - 5) and the Automation, Motion & Drives (Halls 2 - 9, 11 - 13) will showcase how digitalization has impacted and will continue to impact the materials, the technologies and the logistics employed in the industrial sector.
Moreover, the Young Tech Enterprises hub (Hall 24) will aid industrial startups by offering them a platform to present themself and their products and forge new professional partnerships.
Furthermore, the implications of the heightened awareness on topics related to sustainability will be explored in the Energy Solutions (Halls 11 - 13, 27) where energy efficient and environmentally sustainable solutions will be showcased to realize a climate neutral industry.
The international character of the Hannover Messe is represented by the event Global Business & Markets (Hall 21), Europe’s leading forum for international trade, attended by more than six thousand decision-makers.
2019 Facts and Figures
In the past edition, Hannover Messe attracted 215,000 trade visitors, with 86,000 coming from abroad, and resulted in over 6.5 millions business contacts. It featured over 6,500 exhibitors from 75 countries and it showcased more than 500 applications for Industry 4.0 and Artificial Intelligence Solutions.
