European businesses can now benefit from enhanced testing capabilities with PEM®’s Technical Centre for Excellence located in Galway, Ireland.
The European market shifted to producing electric vehicles, energy transmission, storage and conversion products, on top of smaller and more sophisticated electronic devices. PEM®’s Technical Centre of Excellence has expanded their already extensive testing capabilities such as push-out, torque-out and proof load; in addition to micro-hardness, tensile testing and microstructure analysis. Further capabilities include: SMT (Surface Mount Technology) reflow testing, technical cleanliness (ISO 16232) and Ingress Protection (ISO 20653) testing.
New testing facilities are also being expanded to focus on electrical test capabilities, which include electrical connectivity & conductivity testing (IEC 60512) along with high voltage testing (IEC 60664) and the ability to generate reflow curves for standard and custom electrical solutions.
