In a partnership, Siemens and Turboden introduced the Heat ReCycle solution, a combination of a gas turbine power plant with organic rankine cycle technology (ORC). The Heat ReCycle is a power plant that helps recover the waste heat with water-free combined cycles for distributed energy, taking the environment into account. It enables remote and desolate areas to be provided with affordable, efficient and reliable power generation.
Decentralized power plant up to 100 MWe
Heat ReCycle power plants produce lower emissions than other technology used in remote areas such as diesel generators or reciprocating engines, which results in lower NOx, CO2 and Unburned Hydrocarbons (UHC) emissions. Last, as a water-free solution, it is an answer to the challenges faced by various regions of the world.
