Yamaichi Electronics released the Y-ConPlug CAT6A, that is a 10Gbit RJ45 cable connector which widens up the range of the Yamaichi plug series for Gigabit and can be used with all of the Y-Con components. To answer the higher data transmission demand in the industrial area, this CAT6A RJ45 connector can support 10 Gigabit data transmission according to the ISO/IEC 11801 standard. The RJ45 cable connector is engineered with integrated cable guide, EMC shielding made of nickel-plated brass and a rectangular cable crimp that prevents cable rotation.
Functions with all the Y-Con components
Operating in temperature range from -40°C to +120°C (for extreme operating conditions in the field or the plant), its life duration is more than 1 000 mating cycles. This plug Y-ConRJ45 can additionally be protected against external mechanical environmental influences with protection classes IP65K, IP68, IP67 and IP20. It includes protective covers made of PBT or zinc die-cast to give the user the flexibility to choose the right component for various applications. RoHS compliant, its contact area is of 30μ" Au and the wire connection is made with piercing contacts.
