High Performance Cable

Phoenix Contact offers a high performance HCS-GI cable, ensuring simple and efficient networking of industrial Ethernet systems, such as Profinet, Modbus-TCP and Ethernet/IP. It uses interference-proof fiber-optic cable technology. Its new gradient index profile offers an increased bandwidth. Ranges of up to 300 m for 660-nm POF/HCS devices can be achieved and up to 2000 m for 1300-nm glass multi-mode devices in 100 Mbps Fast Ethernet Systems. The cable has a rugged PUR outer sheath and meets Profinet type C requirements, making it suitable for use in drag chain applications. The cable connectors use an intelligent clamping mechanism and can be reused any number of times.
