The performance of the Micro Epsilon scanCONTROL 3000 scanners has been increased with improved algorithms and components. Two new models complete the scanner portfolio with measuring ranges of 430 mm and 600 mm.
The laser profile scanners now have an accelerated data acquisition rate of up to 10 million measuring points/second, while the profile calculation and evaluation speed of the SMART sensors has been increased by 60%. The SMART scanners from Micro-Epsilon now have one of the fastest profile evaluations on the market. The speed increase will take effect for all current scanCONTROL SMART models with an update to scanCONTROL Configuration Tools 6.8. In conjunction with the update to the new v54 firmware, the smart scanCONTROL 30xx sensors achieve an increase in evaluation speed of up to 60%.
The new v54 firmware for the scanCONTROL 30xx series also increases the point rate to up to 10 million measuring points per second compared to the previous 7.5 million - this results in a speed increase of around 33%, regardless of whether it is a SMART or a COMPACT sensor.
