Dytran Instruments introduced the model 3310A high-temperature sensor, which is a low-profile, charge mode accelerometer designed for use in environmental stress screening and mechanical shock testing applications where size and temperature range are critical. This accelerometer only weighs 1.8 grams and has an upper temperature range of +260°C. It uses a Lithium Niobate sensing element, ensuring temperature stability over a wide temperature range. The 3310A has a miniature teardrop design, a base isolation and hermitic sealing in order to operate in high-humidity environments. With a sensitivity of 1.2 pC/g and adhesive mount, the accelerometer has a 3-56 coaxial connector. Its coaxial cable has a 10-32 coaxial jack at the end.
