Dytran Instruments introduces the model 3092C high temperature, piezoelectric charge output accelerometer, designed for use in vibration studies in high temperature environments. This accelerometer is capable of operating in temperature ranges of -51° to +482°C. It has a nominal sensitivity of 5 pC/g and an upper frequency range of 5,000 Hz. The 3092C features a 10-32 radial connector, a 10-32 mounting whole, stainless steel construction and a hermetic seal. This accelerometer mates with an all new hard-line cable assembly, model 6894AXX. Potential applications include turbine engine vibration monitoring, vibration studies of automotive engine and exhaust systems, and general purpose vibration measurements under ultra high temperature conditions.
