For many coolant applications, economic solutions such as Eisele Hydro hoses may be the right choice in order to achieve a balance between operational reliability and economy. The hoses made of polyether-polyurethane (PU-H) are fully hydrolysis- and microbe-resistant and offer a solution for coolant applications that do not require flame-retardant hoses. Polyurethanes are created by the polyaddition reaction of polyisocyanates with multivalent alcohols, or polyalcohols. The thermosplastic elastomers thus obtained exhibit outstanding material properties and durability. Polyether-polyurethanes have high flexibility at low temperatures, are wear-resistant and achieve high tensile strength. PU-H hoses are available dyed-through in the colours natural, white, blue, yellow, green and black. The company offers the translucent version in the colours natural, yellow, green, white, blue and red. They are externally calibrated for use with Liquidline plug-in connections, but are also compatible with all other connection products. They can be used at temperatures from -35 to +70 °C. All hoses are free of emollients, PWIS, copper and PTFE and are kink-resistant and drag chain-compatible. The PU-H hydro hoses are vacuum-suitable and FDA-compliant in accordance with 21 CFR 177.2600.
