The new NEMA 17, NEMA 23 and NEMA 34 hybrid stepper motors from Sonceboz integrate a highly precise, encapsulated magnetic rotary encoder which enables permanent angle sensing. The very compact design of the non-contact encoder makes these hybrid motors 20% smaller than a hybrid motor that works with optical encoders. Its resolution goes up to 5920 increments per rotation. It features a user-programmable position index as well as A and B output signals. High measurement accuracy is guaranteed by a 0.3° linearity. Depending on the series of the motor, the holding torque may be as high as 9 Nm. This motor is suited for use in demanding environments and operates in a temperature range from -40°C to +125°C.
