With the safety version FN96260A, the Schaffner Group has expanded its offering of IEC power entry modules. Integrating a fuse holder and featuring a 74 µA leakage current, this filter is particularly suitable for medical equipment. Available with currents from 1 to 10 A, it comes in two variants for flange and snap-in mounting. UL, CSA and ENEC approved, the module can be used worldwide and complies with the requirements of RoHS and REACH. In comparison with the FN9260B, the safety version FN9260A is distinguished by higher attenuation in the upper frequency range. It also fulfils the requirements of IEC/EN61010 and IEC/EN60601 for medical equipment and is also particularly suitable for applications with increased requirements for the leakage currents. All IEC power entry modules of the FN9260 series have identical mechanical dimensions. They, therefore, support the devices developed in realizing EMC requirements for different applications quickly and flexibly as well as increasing the equipment immunity to faults from the mains power supply. With their compact design, the series also enable reliable interference suppression in confined spaces.
