In a partnership with Guardio, its first partner in the industrial safety helmet industry, MIPS launched an equipped industrial safety helmet to answer construction fatalities and especially traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) issues. The TBIs represent 25% of all construction fatalities, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). The Guardio Armet MIPS helmet is poised to build a safer environment for all workers.
Reduces the risk for minor and severe brain injuries
This helmet includes the MIPS brain protection system that decreases the rotational motion transmitted to the brain from angled impacts to the head. MIPS added protection system can reduce the rotational motion when implemented in a helmet by absorbing and redirecting energies and forces otherwise transmitted to the brain.
