Offering four times the resolution of conventional infrared cameras at 382x288 pixels, thermoIMAGER 400 and 450 miniature infrared cameras from Micro Epsilon achieve a maximum thermal sensitivity of 80 or 40mK. Detecting smallest of temperature changes, they are available in four versions with temperature ranges from -20 to 1500°C. Currently the cameras are available with 30 or 13° view angle. Tiny objects with a 0.8mm² surface areas can be reliably detected. The thermoIMAGER TIM 400 offers an integrated process interface for input and output of analog and digital signals. An image frequency of 80Hz allows infrared acquisition in real time. Housed in an IP 67 protected enclosure measuring 46x56x88mm, the USB thermal imaging camera is suitable for harsh industrial applications. A water-cooling jacket is available for ambient conditions up to 240 °C.
