Ingersoll Rand has launched its future climate company, Trane Technologies, and its two strategic brands, Trane ® and Thermo King ®. By concentrating even more on sustainability and with a portfolio of climate-focused innovations, the climate control brand will continue to find efficient and sustainable solutions for residential and commercial customers.
Michael Lamach, Chairman and CEO of Ingersoll Rand and Trane Technologies, stated, “Global megatrends are pushing climate action to the forefront of the world’s agenda. Strong leadership and commitment to sustainability
The new leadership team, spearheaded by Michael Lamach as Chairman and CEO, will be effective starting from January 1, 2020, and is composed as follows: Dave Regnery, President and COO; Marcia Avedon, Executive Vice President and Chief HR, Marketing and Communications Officer; Paul Camuti, Executive Vice President, CTO and CSO; Ray Pittard, leader of the company’s Transformation and Execution Excellence; Evan Turtz, Senior Vice President and General Counsel.
Trane Technologies will continue to work towards meeting Ingerstoll Rand’s 2030 sustainability targets. Amongst them, the Gigaton Challenge aims to reduce Ingerstoll Rand’s customers’ carbon emissions by one gigaton, 2% of the world’s annual emissions, by 2030. The initiative Leading by Example instead focuses on producing positive change by ensuring that the companies’ operations have a restorative effect on environment by being carbon-neutral and zero waste to landfill.
