The Phasor CV/DM from GE Sensing & Inspection Technologies is a phased array inspection device for corrosion spot identification. This inspection device indentifies measures and evaluates the smallest corrosion pit that can reduce a pipe's wall thickness. With the phased array technology, multiple ultrasonic beams are extended to provide more quality data to identify potential corrosion spots. Its software comprehensively displays inspection data. The multi-element phased array probe has 28 elements to allow extensive linear coverage. A top view inspection image can be frozen. It is sealed to IP65 for operation in the most hostile environments.
