The IDM680 intelligent servo drive with high-speed EtherCAT communication interface from Technosoft is designed to control multi-axis systems and synchronize large numbers of drives in motion applications. This servo drive embeds in one single device motion controller, drive and PLC functionalities. It operates as a standard EtherCAT slave using a CANopen over EtherCAT protocol. The drive is suitable for the operation of brushless, DC or linear motors up to 640 W continuous / 1.3 kW peak voltages. It can also be programmed to execute motion programs directly at the drive level.
