Capable of withstanding a variety of severe environmental, industrial, and chemical conditions, Fischer’s UltiMate Original Series of interconnect solutions features rugged, miniature and ultralight design, robust keying as well as high shock and vibration resistance. Its one-piece plug body design associated with cable assembly containing highly performing epoxy potting is IP68/69K sealed even unmated; tested according to IEC norm 60529. Complete with EMC 360° high performance shielding, the push-pull connectors, complete with visual coding to prevent misconnection, have four robust mechanical codings, allowing an easy mating even in the dark. They are available in a wide range of body styles, sizes and configurations including multipole contacts from 2 to 42 poles. The compact product design with short plugs as well as small and easy to handle and low profile receptacles allows them to be used in restricted spaces. Made of special high resistant aluminum, the series is 50% lighter than typical brass connectors. Immune to fog, salt spray (5% 35°C, MIL STD-202 Method101A), sand, and moisture, the connectors withstand temperature fluctuations from -55 to +135°C and are guaranteed for 10,000 mating cycles.
