From 20 to 21 of March the first edition of Gear Forum will take place in Parma, Italy. The event will be an international appointment where opinion leaders, International buyers of gears (coming from automotive - construction equipment - rail industry - aviation industry etc.) and the most important suppliers of gears will meet in order to speak about issues regarding the future of gears. The event is coordinated by a Technical Steering Committee of International relevance, by Prof. Carlo Gorla of Mechanical Department of Politecnico di Milano, Technical Director of the magazine Organi di Trasmissione, and composed by leading experts of gear sector, that will discuss the topics research trends towards more efficient and performant gears, standards, present and future trends in the USA, performances and efficiency: a challenge for worm gears, software and simulation for the gears of the future, and efficiency in automotive power transmissions.
