Designed like a 40-pin DLI IC, the USB-PIO-OEM can be used to equip devices with a modern and powerful USB 2.0 interface. Within a tight space, a USB interface and 24 digital I/O lines (TTL/CMOS compatible) are provided. Developed by BMCM, the module can be be used under Windows and is freely programmable on MAC OSX and Unix (FreeBSD, Linux) systems. Fully software compatible with the previous USB-PIO, it is available with driver, programming interfaces (ActiveX controls or DLLs) and LabView VIs. For testing purposes or for user development, the USB-PIO-OEM-TL test tool is available with 24 LEDs allowing for easy status control of single lines.
