acceed's RIO 2000 series modules were developed especially for Web-based remote management and are Ethernet-ready. The RIO 2010 has eight relay outputs, 16 opto-insulated digital inputs and, as a special feature, a single wire interface for connecting a digital temperature sensor. The RIO 2017 is an analogue input module with eight insulated A/D channels (16 bit at 10 Hz).
The integrated Web server enables remote access to the control system for inputs and outputs and relays using any Web browser. Under Modbus/TCP operation, the modules can easily be integrated into SCADA and industrial automation systems. Moreover, the modules have a serial RS-485 interface for applications with data communication in RTU or ASCII mode.
The modules are suitable for top-hat rail assembly and can be operated using direct current from 9 to 48 V. The serial interface is executed as a screw connector terminal. LEDs signalise the respective relay status. The permissible surrounding temperature for operation is 0 to 70 °C. Configuration utilities for Windows are included in the scope of delivery.
