Amphenol Industrial Operations has introduced a range of products to cater for all segments of solar energy, including crystalline silicon PV, thin-film PV, concentrated solar power or solar thermal power generation. The Amphoton line of junction box assemblies for solar modules has 13 box models and endless pole/diode configurations. The Helios Solar Cable is designed for high efficiency and durability, this high performance double insulated PV cable meets UL4703 and TUV 2 PfG 1169. The Helios H4 Connector carries more amps, has a higher IP rating, and is fully intermatable with the industry standard connector. It meets the NEC 2008 standard “as is”  and is available in three different gauges, 36A(2.5mm2,AWG14), 45A(4.0mm2,AWG12), 52A(6.0mm2,AWG10).
