Equipped with 8th or 9th generation Intel® Core™ processors, the KBox B-202-CFL from Kontron handles computationally intensive processes and large amounts of data. The "Smart Performance" variant includes an even more powerful 270 W power supply that allows the use of high-performance graphics cards up to 120 W. This variant thus enables high graphics performance and image quality for graphics-intensive applications with possible applications in the fields of digital signage, infotainment and optical quality control. In addition, graphics or network cards (full height PCIe, half length PCIe) can be added via the PCIe interface.
"Smart Storage" variant for high reliability in process-intensive applications
The "Smart Storage" variant supplements the basic configuration with a 2.5" SATA SSD and an M.2 SSD, offering the possibility of mirroring data in RAID Level 1 with two additional 2.5" SSDs (fixed or removable). It also allows the integration of a 3.5" hard drive with a maximum capacity of 12TB. Finally, the Kontron KBox B-202-CFL features two V1.2 display ports, one DVI-D port, numerous interfaces such as four USB 2.0 ports, four USB 3.1 Gen 1 ports, two USB 3.1 Gen 2 ports and a serial interface (COM1/RS232). Windows® 10 IoT Enterprise or Linux Ubuntu 20.04 LTS can be used as operating systems.
