Dimetix offers the new D-Series laser distance sensors for applications where speed plays an important role and long distances need to be measured with high accuracy. They are able measure distances from 0 to 500 meters with an accuracy of +/- 1 mm and a repeat accuracy of +/- 0.3 mm. These data are also valid for measurements on natural surfaces at distances up to 100 m. Even on black target surfaces and in direct sunlight, the instruments can still measure. The measuring speed is 250Hz.
From – 40° to +60° C
All these advantages can be used by customers over a wide temperature range of -40 to +60 °C. Measurement results are made available via various interfaces. An analog output 0/4 - 20 mA, serial interfaces and digital inputs and outputs are integrated as standard. The interfaces and functions can be configured according to individual requirements as well as additional real-time interfaces are available as an option too. Typical areas of application can be found in high-bay warehouses for logistics and in the machine industry or in geodesy.
