With the introduction of the RK DuoLine 120 Z, Rose+Krieger unveils a new timing-belt-driven version of its RK DuoLine linear guide product range in size 120. The range now offers five different linear units: sizes 160 and 80, available as both a timing-belt and a spindle-driven version. The new linear guide with timing-belt drive will also be optionally available with a 25-mm ball rail or with two 15-mm rails in the New Year. As with all RK DuoLine linear actuators, an internal ball rail guide ensures a high load capacity, dynamism and a long service life. The timing-belt-driven version features a highly flexible and space-saving motor configuration: Users have the advantage that they can modify the axis-motor configuration at any time and are not required to make a decision at the ordering stage regarding a specific version. All linear actuators in range can be encapsulated with a stainless steel strip to give an IP 40 protection rating. The timing-belt-driven version has an energy-saving no-load torque of just 2.5 Nm. Central lubricating access via tapered lubrication nipples located directly on the carriage keeps maintenance to a minimum. T-rails with tapped holes facilitate the connection of rated loads. The product range will also be gradually expanded to include a spindle-driven RK DuoLine 120 and belt-driven and spindle-driven versions of size 60.
