With the introduction of the RoHS compliant IDEA External Linear Programmable Actuator, Haydon Kerk Motion Solutions offers a complete line of fully programmable size 17 stepper motor linear actuators. An easy-to-use graphic user interface allows the actuators to be programmed via on-screen graphic buttons instead of complicated command sets or other programming languages. The available software includes an interactive debug feature. The external linear actuator configuration is capable of up to 20” of stroke length with a variety of screw pitches allowing fine resolution linear motion. Therefore this actuator is ideal for small gantry robots, motion systems for optics and lasers, high resolution imaging and precision fluid dispense applications.
