These liquid and gas pumps from Nitto will be a suitable solution for a variety of applications. Due to its self-priming and dry-running capability, this pump is also suitable for air and non-explosive gases. While conventional liquid pumps historically use diaphragms which need complex mechanics to operate, the BIMOR uses simple Piezoelectric Bimorph technology. As a consequence their life time is significantly longer (using water it is said to be more than 50,000h). A big advantage in comparison to peristaltic pumps is that the Bimorph is the only expendable part, so during the whole life time the pump is completely maintenance-free which means there is no need to exchange any wetted parts. In addition the power consumption of the BIMOR is much lower than that of conventional pumps as well as its very low noise level of under 40dB(A). The maximum pressure is 180 mbar and the flow rate for water is 220ml/min.
