Since temperature measurement is becoming increasingly important, highly accurate temperature instrument calibration is critical to ensuring optimal performance, especially for infrared devices when a difference of 0.5°C is mission-critical to ensuring accurate readings. Advanced Energy’s low temperature blackbody calibration sources benefit from the emissivity values, homogenous emission areas and a wide range of different sized apertures to adapt to the desired target area.

Precise and optimal performance for temperature instruments

Their Mikron® IRC series are used for inspecting the measurement accuracy of pyrometers at a fixed temperature value ranging from 35 to 150°C. The Mikron IRC series offer highly accurate control, ensuring a constant and stable heating of the large emitter surface with a high temperature uniformity with a maximum deviation of 0.2°C. The robust design guarantees the operation even under rough industrial environments, while its compact dimensions allow for verifying fixed installed pyrometers at the measuring location.
