There are customers want to assemble their Binder panel mount connectors themselves. To enable a versatile response to low-quantity demands, the supplier also offers their panel mount connectors with solder contacts. In previous versions, the contacts were installed so far into the housing that it was difficult to solder them. The solder cups are now arranged such that they protrude out of the housing slightly. This means that they can no longer be surrounded by casting, which can have detrimental effects on the voltage to be applied. Both versions are available in metal or PVC housings. Other housing designs and types of coding are available as options.
