Markus Kimpel has been appointed CFO of the Romaco Group and Managing Director of Romaco Pharmatechnik, the manufacturing facility in Karlsruhe, Germany, the Romaco Group announced. Graduated in Business Administration & Manufacturing Engineering, Kimpel has extensive management experience in the construction and automotive supplies industries. He succeeds Carsten Strenger, who previously occupied both positions and has decided to leave the company before the start of 2020.

With him on board the management team, we are optimally prepared for whatever commercial or processing challenges lie ahead of us. He will be a great asset for our company and a worthy successor to Carsten Strenger.”
Guiding integration with Truking
In May 2017, the Romaco Group was sold by Deutsche Beteiligungs AG to the Truking Holding, a Chinese pharmaceutical engineering group, with a three-year plan designed to accelerate the integration between the two.
Kimpel commented, “Wrapping up the Romaco groups integration into Truking, the Chinese parent company, will call for a mix of commercial expertise and diplomatic skills. I am personally very much looking forward to this new, exciting assignment together with my team because I firmly believe this German-Sino constellation offers development and growth opportunities for all players.”
