Measurement Module

The 3-phase power measurement module from WAGO allows a detailed measurement of electric quantities in a three-phase supply network, ideal for energy savings projects. The 3-phase power measurement module is available for the fieldbus-independent 750 Series I/O system and enables a detailed measurement of the electrical quantities of a three-phase power supply network. The current and voltage values of six analog/digital converters are recorded in all three phases within a time frame of about 16 microseconds. The module calculates the effective power and energy consumption from these values, whereby additional values, such as the apparent power and the phase-shift angle can be derived more easily. Extensive network analyses can now be performed directly via the fieldbus by the WAGO-I/O-SYSTEM.
