The compact sized mini-balise circular connectors from Hypertac have been designed to meet the space and technical requirements of the Eurobalise system. These circular connectors allow co-molding of the metallic body of the empty receptacle onto the plastic body of the mini-balise system. This makes it possible to insert the insulator equipped with contacts into the receptacle afterwards. Thanks to their black cataphoresis plating the metallic parts of the connector are salt fog resistant for 500 hours. A reliable signal integrity and a prefect data transmission between the rail track and the train borne equipment is guaranteed.
