Designed for simple handling tasks, the SLN-27, form igus, is available with or without a stepper motor. Operating lubrication-free, it is based on the proven miniature guide system “drylin N” size 27. The linear guide trough consists of durable anodized aluminum. The axis is 22 mm high by 28 mm wide and weighs 60g. At a maximum stroke length of 250mm its weight is only 160g. When delivered with a NEMA 11 stepper, the guide's dimensions are 28x28mm. Alternative motors from other manufacturers can be easily connected through a NEMA 11 motor flange. Plastic plain bearings in the spindle bearings and in the carriage provide a completely lubrication and maintenance-free system. The effective tilting clearance of the carrier can be adjusted with four setscrews. The feed is realized over a spindle with a diameter of 5 mm. Pitch variations of 0.8 to 5 mm are available.
