Exhibiting alongside ExxonMobil Chemicals and during two keynote presentations, Mobil™ Industrial Lubricants illustrated how advanced lubricants can help to enhance the entire lifecycle of the polymer and are critical to the effective running of equipment. Mobil™ also introduced two major product innovations, developed side-by-side with equipment builders to address the challenges within the plastics industry.
In the first presentation, “Unlocking the potential of hydraulic fluids”, ExxonMobil unveiled the Mobil DTE™ 20 Ultra Series. Specifically formulated for a vast range of applications, the series can help expand the oil drain intervals, therefore cutting costs, increasing productivity and reducing waste oil disposal. In the second presentation, “Under pressure to perform: hyper compressor lubrication”, ExxonMobil showcased Mobil Rarus™ PE KPL Series. The series is designed for extreme pressure hyper compressors, and can help to increase productivity of LDPE hyper compressors operating at 3,000 bar. It is also proven to increase reliability and ensure the purity of the final polymer, and is approved for food grade BHT free LDPE products.
