Modular Sensors

The new product line of Modular Economy ME-Sensors is placed between the MK-class position and the MH series in HeavyDuty construction in the Müller-IE product portfolio of compact sensors. These devices are offered in a wide range of different physical parameters, starting with temperature, followed by pressure, level and flow. All versions are equipped with 4 to 20 mA 2-wire, HART interface, two limit value switches as open collector or relay, optionally with radio transmission and an operation by touchM-key technology. The sensors have a head with display unit made of translucent MAKROLON and integrated 4-digit 7-segment current loop display. This head can be rotated through 300° and the display also reversible by 180° for overhead mounting. The housing consists of ABS which is characterized by high surface hardness and impact resistance and is also oil-resistant. In the segment pressure measurement especially for food-/pharmaceutical applications, the hygienic requirements are taken into account by the use of a case made of stainless steel. All process connections are generally made of stainless steel. The electrical connections are also available in several different plastic plugs versions.
