Moxa, a leading manufacturer of industrial networking, computing, and automation solutions, announced their membership in the Industrial Internet Consortium (IIC). The IIC is a non-profit partnership of industry, government and academia formed to accelerate the global use of interconnected devices, intelligent analytics and people. Moxa is one of the first industrial automation companies to join the Consortium.

AT&T, Cisco, GE, IBM and Intel formed the IIC earlier this year to support better access to data with improved integration of the physical and digital worlds. The IIC is open to any business, organization or entity with an interest in advancing the Industrial Internet. In addition to gaining an immediate, visible platform for their opinions, consortium members join in developing critical relationships with leaders in technology, manufacturing, academia and the government on working committees.
