MSM series of drives

Three new drives have been added to the MSM series. They are based on Milan motors and are fully compatible with the Schunk Motion Protocol.The MSM motors are equipped with an integrated controller, which removes the need to set up a control cabinet or install complex cabling. This integrated controller enables up to 100 positions to be freely defined based on time, torque or destination in the 100 travel data slots, of which the processing sequence can be freely configured. The motors have nominal torques of up to 4.0Nm, holding torques of up to 9.0Nm and maximum speeds of 4,000rpm, while the nominal power can be up to 1.26kW. The intermediate circuit in the MSM motors is supplied with a 230 VAC mains voltage. They are standard equiped with a Profibus DP or CAN bus connection. By means of a standard bus cable, they can be connected to each other.
