The R82, 26 GHz two-wire non contact radar transmitter from Magnetrol is a level transmitter based on Pulse Burst Radar technology. Short bursts of 26GHz microwave energy are emitted and subsequently reflected from the liquid level surface. The liquid level is calculated by applying the user's tank height and sensor offset values. The encapsulated horn in Polypropylene or Tefzel allows it to be used in the most corrosive media. This level transmitter can handle process temperatures from -40°C to +93°C and from full vacuum up to 13.8 bar within a measuring range up to 12.2m.
