Integration will be the topic of the software provider Aucotec at Hannover MesseThe company will present connectivity of external systems such as the PLM Software Team Center (Siemens) or Agile (Oracle) or also the time-saving link with the process control system tools from ABB (800xA) and Siemens (PCS7). EB's integration of various industry standards is also an important topic. Aucotec is a developer of software for designing electrical plants which has signed the "Codex of PLM Openness" (CPO). The CPO was developed under ProSTEP leadership together with the most prestigious car manufacturers and IT system providers of their industry. The related obligation to provide general system openness has been a fundamental principle of EB from the outset and a prerequisite for an enormous degree of integration which is thus possible. In addition to the import of master data in EPLAN P8 format and the eClass Standard, EB is also able to use the new VEC (Vehicle Electrical Container) as XML format for exchanging data in the automotive industry. EB already meets the new ISO 15926 standard, which harmonises the data structure of all assembly sections in process engineering plants. This not only greatly facilitates the data exchange between different systems in the design phase, but also ensures the long-term universal readability of archived data of enduring plants.
