EAO announces a new range of robust plastic keypads with their new S Series Lite. The product is apt for use indoor or outdoor, particularly in access control systems, ticketing machines, telephone systems, payment terminals, and vending equipment. With the look and durability of metal, the keypads are made from an rugged Polycarbonate (PC) plastic. A simulated matte chrome finish, which is scratch-resistant to ensure long-lasting appearance, gives this series the look of a heavyweight keypad without the expense of metal. When mounted, it is also protected to IP67 requirements against the ingress of water, oil, and dirt and is impact resistant to an IK09 (10 joule) rating.
