maxon motor presents an expended product range. The EPOS4 positioning controller is one of the latest products developd by maxon's R&D department. It is based on the existing EPOS series and offers impressive power density. The modular controllers are designed for controlling DC brushed and brushless motors with Hall sensors and encoders with up to 750 W of continuous power and 1500 W of peak power.
The intuitive graphical user interface makes it easy even for non-experts to configure the systems. maxon has also expanded its range of configurable brushless DC motors which offer impressively high speeds. These ECX motors were presented for the first time in the fall of last year. Now, the more models have been added to the series, like the ECX Speed 22 High Power. This drive is not only fast (up to 60,000 rpm) but also quite powerful (35 mNm).
