GlobTek now has UL certificates and reports for the Encapsulated Potted Power Supply Ac Adapter GT(M)91099 -P2 -P3 -F -FW Series to latest United States and Canadian national standards UL 60601-1, 1st Edition, 2006-04-26 CAN/CSA-C22.2 No. 601.1-M90, 2005. The series complies to IP68. The standard UL 60601-1 and CAN/CSA No 601.1-M90 applies to the safety of MEDICAL ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT (as defined in Sub-clause 2.2.15 of the standard). Although this Standard is primarily concerned with safety, it contains some requirements regarding reliable operation where this is connected with safety. This certification is typically required by the end users of medical equipment and therefor Medical system manufacturers. The device is available in Class I and Class II, External with mounting tabs configuration featuring an wires for input and output connections. Bespoke Wire lengths may be customized at customer request. The MEDICAL GRADE (60601-1) power supply has an input from 90-264VAC 50-60Hz and a factory configurable output of 5VDC to 48VDC output with a max power of 60W continuous output. This product complies with North American Energy Star, Canadian NRCAN, and other worldwide requirements for Level V efficiency compliance and is produced in an ISO13485, ISO14001, ISO9001 certified facility.
