Blending mechanical components with electronics, Otto Ganter developed the U-handle GN 422, a handle that integrates power switching functions with LED ring lighting. Available in black or silver and with one or two LED buttons, the U-handle facilitates monitoring thanks to its LED buttons that switch color depending on polarity, indicating for example the current production machine status.
Variants available
The handles are fitted with either plug connectors or cables to facilitate mounting and electrical installation. Other handle variants are available to ensure compliance with the costumer’s requirements, such as the GN 422.1, created without any electrical features.Moreover, Ganter offers additional matching accessories as well as the EPLAN Data Portal, free for EPLAN users, that aids customers in their electrical planning.
