The Optris PI 640i infrared camera is now available with new microscope optics, designed to precisely measure temperatures of even the smallest microelectronic structures.

With 2x magnification, this innovative solution allows temperature readings at the chip level, analyzing objects as small as 34 µm with high geometric resolution. The optics provide a thermal resolution of 80 mK, ensuring detailed and accurate results for complex semiconductor components like processors.

Compact electronic components often experience high temperatures, accelerating the aging of materials. The PI 640i addresses this by enabling temperature measurement in the micrometer range. Easily integrated with a microscope stand, the PI 640i also features interchangeable optics for flexible use across various tasks.

It offers a maximum resolution of 640 x 480 pixels at 32 Hz, or up to 640 x 120 pixels at 125 Hz. Additionally, the camera includes the license-free PIX Connect software, or alternatively, an SDK for custom applications.
