Fischer Elektronik will offer an extended product range of socket strips in the grid of 2.54 mm effective immediately. These new models consist of one and two-row strips in the standing version. The contacts have a soldering pin connection of 6.5 mm, the total length of the socket contact is 11.4 mm. In the single role version, this strip has one to five pins and in the double version from two to 100 pins. The insulating body is made of a high temperature-resistant plastic, also suitable for THT soldering techniques, in addition to shaft soldering. The socket contacts consist of a twisted, solder-sealed sleeve which are equipped with punched contact elements - clip. This clip consists of four spring-actuated contact fingers and is achieved through a very good contact and contact security. The surface is always gold-plated while the socket is offered in both tin-plated as well as gold versions.
