Parker Hannifin launched the EPP4 series of remote controlled electro-pneumatic pressure regulators. Both the 1" and 2" models are quick and easy to install and have been developed to guarantee low inertia on moving robots. These pressure regulators use an integrated electronic control system in order to control the output pressure proportionally to an analogue electrical signal. An internal feedback system through an integral pressure sensor ensures high precision. This results into a reduced number of components necessary to set up the control system. Fast response times are achieved as well as excellent linearity, low hysteresis of 0.5% for the accurate and fast adjustment of the controlled pressure and serious energy savings.
