Prior Scientific Instruments Ltd. has announced new senior management appointments. After a successful seven years with Prior Scientific, Managing Director, Dr. Monika Maintz has resigned and will be moving on to manage a Cambridgeshire based charity. "We want to thank Monika for her extraordinary accomplishments with Prior." Says Tom Freda, President and CEO of Prior Scientific Inc. "Under Monika's stewardship, Prior has developed new products, new systems and new ways of working, enabling the company to develop a much more competitive and solid position in its target markets. The changes she implemented leave Prior Scientific much better equipped to grow and prosper."
Tom Freda will take over as CEO of the Prior Scientific Group. Tom has been with Prior since 1993 and is currently President and CEO of Prior Scientific Inc. in Rockland, MA. Tom will be based at Prior's offices in Rockland but will be dividing his time at the head office in Fulbourn, UK.At the same time, Stuart Jarvis will take on the role of Chief Technical Officer (CTO), with the additional responsibility for Production.
Stuart has also been with Prior since 1993 and previously served as R & D Director. Simon Smith will take on the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO), with additional responsibilities for Quality, Material Planning, and Inventory. Simon has been with Prior since 2008 and previously served as Director of Finance. Stuart and Simon will also be responsible for the much of the day to day operations of the Fulbourn facility.
