Network stability is always top of mind for field technicians and chief engineers alike. That’s no surprise with unplanned downtime costing companies an average of $260k an hour. Thus it is a good to know that Procentec will be attending SPS 2021 on November 23-25. The developer will show practical ways to improve the health of industrial communication protocols. What’s more, it has a surprise up its sleeve.
“We’ll also be revealing our new corporate identity,” says Pieter Barendrecht, CEO of Procentec. “Let’s just say that you should be prepared for a superhero adventure when you visit us either online or in person.”
Procentec will be joining around 750 exhibitors at the 31st International Exhibition for Industrial Automation. The event is back in person for those who are vaccinated, recovered or PCR-tested. Barendrecht is looking forward to returning to Nuremberg and catching up with people face to face, but he understands that not everyone can travel yet.
“For the last year or so, we’ve been launching our products digitally. To be honest, we’re surprised just how successful these virtual events are. So when we realized that not everyone would be able to make it to Germany, we thought: why not run a virtual stand alongside our physical stand?”
The decision to make this year’s attendance at SPS a hybrid event makes good business sense. It means everyone – no matter their COVID status – can explore Procentec’s best-selling automation solutions and chat with their experts.
“We’ll also be demonstrating a bunch of brand-new features on our virtual platform,” concludes Barendrecht. “These updates represent what we’re all about: supporting network engineers in a constantly changing environment. The more uncomplicated we make their work, the less likely their networks will fail.”
If you’re keen to discover solutions for preventing downtime but can’t get to Nuremberg, you can register for Procentec’s online event. It is free and runs throughout SPS 2021 and beyond.
