The RGS / GGS sensors combine LED multi-line triangulation for robust 3D measuring technology or robot guidance using LED surface illumination to provide contrast to additional measuring and inspection criteria. The family includes a compact version in a design that can measure components in motion. The sensors are even able to perform reliably despite the surface or color of the component being inspected. With them, it is even possible to perform rugged measurements and they are well-suited for the most demanding of in-line measurements at small working distances such as 100 , 150 and 200mm. The rate of accuracy is significantly higher than ±0.1mm. With regards to their measuring volume, the sensors are available in several different versions and can therefore be customized to work in each respective application.
