On July 1st, Ringfeder Power Transmission took over Tschan, Neunkirchen, Germany. Founded in 1922 in Krefeld as a patent commercialization agency for friction springs, the company in the city of Groß-Umstadt, Germany, with its Ringfeder, Gerwah and Ecoloc trademarks has been one of the leading suppliers of components in the field of drive and damping technology as well as application technologies. Ringfeder Power Transmission is synonymous with custom-made solutions for their customers and engineering made in Germany - unlike any other company out there. "Tschan will be able to pursue its international business activities under our roof. We will be focusing on synergy effects and increasing efficiency at the Saarland location," says Mr. Thomas Moka, CEO of Ringfeder Power Transmission and now also the new managing director of the 86 Tschan employees.
For 90 years, Tschan has been a household name for non-shiftable, mechanic shaft couplings heavy-duty engineering. The Neunkirchen company does not only supply the mining and construction machinery industry but their products are also used in the iron and steel production industry as well as cement works and offshore companies.
